About Us

Imagine this: Jess joins her local gym, excited and motivated to transform her lifestyle.

For the first few months, she’s unstoppable – attending classes, making new friends, and feeling healthier than ever. But then, life gets busy. The motivation that once burned so brightly begins to fade. Jess skips a few classes, misses her usual booking patterns, and eventually, her attendance starts to diminish.

This story is all too common.

At Scalr, we believe staying active isn’t the solution to every problem, but it’s the key to so many. That’s why we’ve developed a behavioral algorithm that does more than just track gym attendance—it predicts patterns, identifies risks, and empowers gyms to re-ignite motivation before it fizzles out.

Our software equips fitness operators with actionable insights, helping them connect with members like Jess at just the right moment. The result? Longer-lasting gym memberships, stronger relationships, and a healthier, more active community.

This is how we’re redefining fitness—one active habit at a time.

About Scalr

Michael

Michael’s path to founding Scalr is rooted in both personal experience and a decade of commercial leadership. After facing the challenge of maintaining consistent fitness habits amidst demanding roles at companies like Uber and Cloud Kitchens, Michael recognised a broader issue: gyms lacked the tools to effectively engage members and prevent churn.

Noas

Noas, is an astrophysicist who has spent the last decade specialising in behavioral causality - the study of understanding how and why specific behaviors occur. He has applied his expertise across a range of industries, including public and private investment markets, where decoding complex patterns and making accurate predictions were essential.

Where We Operate

This mission goes beyond fitness.

It’s about sparking a ripple effect: better preventative healthcare, enhanced everyday productivity, and a healthier economy. With Scalr, it’s not just about transforming how gyms operate – it’s about shaping a more active, connected, and thriving society.
